On Day 5 of the Add-on-Certificate Course (third batch) at Daulat Ram College, Ms. Alka Singh, Secretary, Shahdara DLSA delivered the session on the topic “First Information Report (FIR)”. She elaborated the topic with the help of Powerpoint Presentation for quick and effective understanding.
Induction Training Programme for the newly empanelled Legal Services Advocates (Day-3)
“Day 3 i.e. 04.11.2023 of the Induction Training Programme was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Girish Kathpalia, Judge, High Court of Delhi who made the participants aware on the topics i.e. i) “Appreciation of Evidence:Primary & Secondary Evidence, Electornic Evidence”ii) Art of Examination & Cross Examination of witnesses in particular reference to criminal cases”. He also discussed a Case file for better understanding of the topic in the issues regarding examination-in chief and Cross-examination of witnesses.
Thereafter Sh. Abhinav Pandey, Secretary (Litigation), DSLSA delivered the third session on the topic “Delhi Victim Compensation Scheme-2018 and Overview of POCSO Act, 2012”.
Last session was delivered by Hon’ble Ms. Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, Judge, High Court of Delhi on the topic “Protection of Women from Domestice Violence Act, 2005” and “Evolving law of Maintenance”. Ms. Anju Bajaj Chandana, Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue District Court also graced the training programme.

“First session of Day 2 of the Induction Training Programme was taken up by Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA. He explained the topic of“Overview of Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 with the help of a Powerpoint presentation for an effective understanding. Thereafter, Ms. Helly Fur Kaur, Secretary, West DLSA delivered the session on the topic “Injuction and Interim relief under order 39 CPC, Specific performance of Contracts and Declaratory relief”.
Third session of the Training programme was deliverd by Sh. Vinik Jain, Secretary, South East DLSA on the topic ‘Overview of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881”. Then Sh. Anurag Bindal, LAC, West DLSA took the fourth session on the topic “Court Fees Act” and “Suits valuation Act”.
Last session of the day was delivered by Sh. Lalit Kumar, Secretary, North East DLSA on the topics “Provisions of Bail with reference to Special Laws, Default Bail, Parole & Furlough and Sentencing”. During the session all the queries raised by the participants were resolved by the Resource persons.

Session for Add on Certificate Course, Legal Literacy, Awareness and Aid
Delhi State Legal Services Authority, in collaboration with Daulat Ram College, initiated a Add-on- Certificate Course on Legal Literacy, Awareness and Aid from 19th October 2023.
Sh. Abhinav Pandey, Secretary (Litigation), DSLSA was the resource person on Day 1 of this Add on Certificate Course (Third Batch). He delivered the session on the topic “Introduction to Constitution- Fundamental Rights & Fundamental Duties” at the premises of Daulat Ram College. At the end of the session, all the queries raised by the participants were resolved by the resource person.”
