Inauguration of Para Legal Volunteer Training for the students of VIPS

Delhi State Legal Services Authority inaugurated a Para Legal Volunteer Training for the students of Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies. The Inaugural ceremony of the said training was organized at the premises of the College and the same was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Siddharth Mridul, Judge, High Court of Delhi/Executive Chairman, DSLSA alongwith Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA, Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, DSLSA, Sh. Vimal Kumar Yadav, Principal District & Session Judge, North-West District, Sh. Virender Bhatt, District Judge (Commercial), North District.
The programme commenced with the Inauguration of Information Board of DSLSA followed by lighting of the lamp and Felicitation of Dignitaries. Thereafter welcome address was delivered by Sh. Suneet Vats, Vice-Chairman, VIPS-TC and Nukkad Natak by “Mashaal” team of Vivekanand Legal Aid Clinic.

Mr. Justice Siddharth Mridul, Judge, High Court of Delhi/Executive Chairman, DSLSA delivered the Presidential Address and encouraged all the participants to have an attitude of helping others and giving something back to the society. Certificates were also distributed to the students for acknowledging their contribution towards the cause of legal awareness.

Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA delivered the Special Address and made each and everyone aware about roles and duties of Para Legal Volunteers in activities of DSLSA. Thereafter vote of thanks speech was given by Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Salpekar, DEAN, VSLLS-TC

Inauguration Ceremony of 13th Round of Add-on Course and Inauguration of Information Board of Legal Aid at PGDAV College, Nehru Nagar (Evening), New Delhi
South-East, District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority & Delhi State Legal Services inaugurated the 13th Round of Add-on-Course at PGDAV College, Sriniwaspuri on 19th April, 2023 in the esteemed presence of Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, Ms. Harshita Mishra, Secretary (Litigation), Ms. Helly Fur Kaur, Secretary, New Delhi DLSA and Sh. Lalit Kumar, Secretary, Central-IIDLSA.

The principal of the College Sh. R K Gupta and Course Coordinator Ms. Meena Sharma also joined in the program. 48 students have enrolled for the course.The 13th Online Add on Course with PGDAV college evening, Nehru Nagar, Ring Road Delhi will be conducted by Secretary DLSA South-East Ms. Isha Singh along with the cooperation and coordination of Sh. R.K. Gupta Principal & Ms. Meena Sharma course Coordinator. The relevance and practical aspects of various laws will be covered during 10 sessions.

Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA inaugurated an Information Board of DSLSA at the Campus of the PGDAV College in presence of Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, Ms. Harshita Mishra, Secretary (Litigation), Ms. Isha Singh, Secretary, South East DLSA, Ms. Helly Fur Kaur, Secretary, DLSA New Delhi and Sh. Lalit Kumar, Secretary-II, Central DLSA.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp by our dignitaries and address by them to the students. The program was conducted under the able guidance of Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA who explained the children about the working of DSLSA and the importance of legal literacy. Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, DSLSA also interacted with all the participants and motivated them to work for the noble cause of spreading legal awareness. Ms. Helly Fur Kaur, Secretary, New Delhi DLSA presented vote of thanks.

Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat Narela Road, near Jagdishpur Village, Sonipat, Haryana organized a Panel Discussion on the “Interface between Management law and Governance” on 18th April 2023 at their Campus.

Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, DSLSA was invited as the Keynote Speaker to share his insight on the intersection of management law & governance. The session was very interactive.
