    Refresher PLV Training on 14.01.2025

    Para Legal Volunteers play a critical role in supporting and assisting with various tasks that enhance the accessibility of legal services. To ensure they are prepared for their responsibilities and remain effective in their roles, refresher training is essential. DSLSA organized a half day Refresher Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) Training Programme on 14th January, 2025 at Nyay Manch Auditorium, 1st floor, Rouse Avenue District Courts.

    The session was conducted for the Community PLVs as well as Law students attached with North East, Shahdara, East, South East, South, North West and West as PLVs whose tenure had expired and are willing to work further as a Para Legal Volunteer.

    Sh. Rajeev Bansal, Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA delivered the Introductory Session and explained the motive behind this refresher training programme. He also appreciated their zeal to work as a volunteer of this Authority.

    Sh. Naveen Gupta, Ld. Special Secretary, DSLSA briefed the participants about Do’s and Don’ts for PLVs. He also showed Powerpoint presentation for quick and effective understanding.

    Thereafter, Sh. Mridul Gupta, Ld. Additional Secretary, DSLSA and Sh. Abhinav Pandey, Ld. Secretary (Litigation), DSLSA delivered the sessioin on “Re-visiting of basic laws with special emphasis on the legal rights relating to Women, Children and Sr. Citizen etc. The session was very informative with frequent questions answers making it interactive. Queries of participants were also resolved by the Resource persons.
