“National Lok Adalat 2025: Insights from Sh. Rajeev Bansal, Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA, in Interview with 92.7 Big FM” 03.09.2025
Sh. Rajeev Bansal, Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA, was invited for an interview regarding the upcoming National Lok Adalat to be held on 13th September 2025 to the studio of 92.7 Big FM. The interview was conducted by RJ Khurafati Nitin, who introduced the Ld. Member Secretary and posed several questions on the subject of the National Lok Adalat.
The interview took place at the radio station in a detailed and informative manner, aimed at creating awareness among the listeners about the importance and functioning of Lok Adalats. During the interview, Sh. Rajeev Bansal, Ld. Member Secretary, DSLSA, explained that the National Lok Adalat is based on the principle of Vaikalpik Vivad Niptara (Alternative Dispute Resolution), under which both pending litigations and pre-litigation matters are taken up.
He emphasized that in the Lok Adalat, disputes are settled amicably between both parties, ensuring speedy disposal and mutual satisfaction. Ld. Member Secretary also mentioned that Traffic Challan Courts will be functioning during the Lok Adalat, and for this purpose, 1.80 lakh tokens have been printed for being taken up on 13th September 2025. The Ld. Member Secretary reiterated that the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority, is fully committed to ensuring smooth conduct of the National Lok Adalat, where categories of cases such as criminal compoundable offences, cheque dishonor cases, money recovery, motor accident claims, labour disputes, electricity and water bill cases, matrimonial disputes (except divorce), land acquisition, service matters, revenue cases, other civil matters, and traffic challans will be amicably settled. He further informed that the National Lok Adalat is being organized in all court complexes of Delhi, namely Rohini, Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, Rouse Avenue, Dwarka, Saket, and Patiala House, as well as at the High Court of Delhi, Debt Recovery Tribunals, the Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions, and the office of the Permanent Lok Adalat.
