    DSLSA organized a field visit of newly appointed Trainee Judicial Officers of Delhi Higher Judicial Services and Delhi Judicial Services in Slum Areas of Delhi

    “Visit of Trainee Judicial Officers from DHJS/DJS in slum Areas
    Delhi State Legal Services Authority organized a field visit of newly appointed Trainee Judicial Officers of Delhi Higher Judicial Services and Delhi Judicial Services in Slum Areas of Delhi as a part of their Induction Curriculum in Delhi Judicial Academy on 09.05.2023.
    A legal awareness talk was also organized in Mahila Panchayats functional under Delhi Commission for Women to spread legal awareness amongst the general public. Trainee Judicial Officers as well as Secretaries of DLSAs took part in the same. After the awareness session Trainee Judicial Officers accompanied by Secretary of concerned DLSA and a local visit was made to the nearby Slum Areas. Areas which were covered are Burari, Mandawali, JJ colony, Wazirpur, old Mustafabad, Mangolpuri, Vijay Vihar (Phase-I) Rohini, New Seema Puri, Sangam Vihar, Sarita Vihar, Kakrola Dwarka, JJ colony Bakkarwala Mundka and Chanchal Park, Ranhola. Services of Legal Aid Counsels (LACs) specially constituted Domestic Violence Task Force (DVTF) and project “SPARSH” were utilized for delivering sessions on women related laws, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2013 (POCSO) etc.
    Thereafter, all the newly recruited Judicial officers from DHJS/DJS arrived at Central Office, DSLSA, Rouse Avenue District Court for an experience sharing feedback session and interaction with the Officers of DSLSA at Conference Hall, Rouse Avenue District Court Complex. Sh. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, DSLSA welcomed all the Judicial Officers the Judicial Officers were encouraged to share their experiences of the day.
    Sh. Sushant Changotra, Special Secretary, DSLSA, Ms. Harshita Mishra, Secretary (Litigation), DSLSA and Sh. Lalit Kumar, Secretary, Central-II, DSLSA also interacted with the Trainee Judicial Officers and took feedback from the newly recruited Judicial Officers. The Trainee Judicial Officers shared their individual experiences and gave suggestions for inclusion in future programs for legal aid and legal awareness.
